The Crazy Ideas That Some People Have Can Only Make You Say; What Were They Thinking?

While there are many creatures around the city of Melbourne, it is rare to see the creatures while eating a burger and fries at McDonald's, but that is an experience that several people had had this week at a local fast food restaurant. Two men decided to offer some entertainment and pulled out a five foot python named Boris in the parking lot and began fighting him.

Needless to say that visitors to the restaurant were a little shocked by what they saw to the point where they notified the authorities, who rushed to the scene and arrested the two men, aged between 22 and 24. By arresting the two men, police realized that the python had been stolen from a local pet store the day before and then decided that the parking lot of McDonald's was best to put on their show.

Apparently, it is believed that the men also stole a lizard in the robbery which occurred at the Totally Reptiles Pet Store on the same day, but the lizard has not yet been recovered. And while the owner remains concerned about the lizard he is relieved to have Boris back safe and sound. The black python was a little cold and worn out from his ordeal, appears to be unharmed and is recovering well back in the pet store.

Black headed pythons like Boris are native to Northern Australia and are not venomous; fortunately they only bite when they are hunting their prey. The men who stole him and the restaurant goers were never at any real risk of the large python although at 5 feet long he is very intimidating looking. Charges have been filed against the two men that include burglary and theft but sources have not released the name of these two men at this point.

This screen is not common in Melbourne, but just a case of Dumb and Dumber as media sources are calling it. As for Melbourne, unless you are visiting one of the zoos in the area or pet shops it is not likely to find a python or other large creature in the wild and manifestations is rarely noticed out in local parks, but of course the guests learned the hard way.
