Schwinn road bikes seem like they have been around forever! Schwinn is a well known and respected name in the bicycle industry. I remember two bright yellow Schwinn bikes hanging in my parents garage as they were hanging up. They were big, old heavy 10-speed bikes from my parents days in Milwaukee, WI where they road their bikes to work.

Bikes have come SUCH a long way since then!

Today's road bikes are lighter, stronger and more comfortable to ride. Plus, if you live in a hilly area like I do - Seattle, WA - you'll probably want to get a well-geared bike. Mine has 21 speeds, but I could probably use more...

I always like to go there before I buy anything big because you can read all the reviews about the different products and see what enthusiasts are saying in regards to the quality and usability of the various bikes, brands, models, etc.

They also have new and used stuff, although, I think with the Schwinn road bikes their inventory is mostly new.

You can also pick up lots of other helpful things there like bike parts, helmets, road side crash kits, etc. You may already have all those things if you've been biking for a while, but it doesn't hurt to see if there are any good bargains around.
